Car and Driver - General Motors plans to bring back the Chevrolet Camaro, according to a Detroit Free Press report.
The 2002 model year was the last for the Camaro, which was originally introduced for the 1967 model year.
GM Chairman and Chief Executive Rick Wagoner is expected to announce the return of the Camaro in a speech at the annual automotive conference in Traverse City, Mich., the story said.
Production of a new Camaro could start as early as 2008, the newspaper reported.
