Why are we in Iraq?
Saddam’s only link to 9/11 was…he controlled a country smack in the middle of the region, that is breeding killers intent on wiping us off the face of the planet.
Where was a better, more convenient place in the region, to attempt to establish a starting place for reforming of the Muslim World. Iraq was the most likely candidate to embrace freedom, and allow us to establish a base from which to eradicate the cancer that is radical Islam.
Saddam was no threat to us. We could eliminate, from the air, any infrastructure he could build, to become a threat to us. But how long were we going to be able to enforce sanctions against him.
Who were we going to retaliate against after 9/11, to ensure it did not happen again? Was doing nothing again, a good option? We refuse to even admit that our true enemy isn’t a government, it is a religion. Its the Mullahs in the region that needed to be eliminated, not the political leaders.
The true enemy that attacked us on 9/11 is the poverty and Illiteracy in the region, that is attracted to the principals of Islam, then brainwashed by the power hungry theocrats into spreading the cancer by violent means. Have you ever heard of a Mullah becoming a suicide bomber. Hell no, they are the only ones in the cult, that have a reason to continue living. They are prosperous already.
We will never be safe, unless “these people” ( I love saying that ) have something better to do with their lives that just sitting around blaming all their failures on our success. And that is the reason we are in Iraq. To start the reform process “somewhere” in the region.
The fact that other freedom haters from the region, are moving to where our snipers can see them, is just a bonus.
There is no guarantee that our efforts to bring us safety by reforming the ME will work. We may not have the political will or stomach for it. If we cant defeat the brainwashed killers, on their own turf. What will we do then……to survive.
Gods Little Land Mines
I am having a personal war of extermination, with the local snake population. I have had 3 snake encounters in 3 days.
The first one, a 6' Water Moccasin
was in my pump house, in a 5 gallon bucket. He was quickly introduced to the business end of a sawed off 12 Guage. I will need a new bucket too.
Yesterday, I discovered a dead Copperhead in my driveway.
I must have sent him to snake hell, on my way to work.
Today, however I sped up and swerved to run over a demon monster. A 7' Water moccasin, crossing the driveway, close to my house. I got him, but backed up and over him again to make sure, and after backing over him, he never appeared in front of my Pickup. Thats not a good sign. It make you wonder where he is. Did he hitch a ride on my undercarriage, where he can hang on, and wait for me to stop, open door, and place a leg in front of him to extract his revenge on. Well, just for the record I am not to old or big to crawl out the window and jump. Armed searches of the crime scene yielded no results.
So the score for summer 2004 is:

The Religion of Peace ?
Todays news of the death toll, in the far eastern nation of Thailand, was barely covered by the major media. What was the cause of the violence, you guessed it, our old friends, the Muslims.
The global cancer of Islam is spreading in all directions. In Thailand it is bumping up against centuries of Buddhism. Thailand is 10% Muslim. 6 million out of 60 million. That apparently is a sufficient ratio, for the Muslims to start attempting to overthrow the government. It is their religious duty.
The Thai government aint as handicapped as we are in resisting this Islamic movement. They dont have liberalism or Christian morals to overcome, to protect their way of life.
Wednesday's attacks were larger and far more organized than prior violence. They were carried out in large part by lightly armed young men, many carrying only machetes, who were apparently willing to die in what some military officers were calling suicide raids.
"Most of the dead insurgents are youths of ages ranging from 15 to 20, but two of the leaders are aged about 50 and 60," said Lt. Gen. Proong Bunphandung, the chief of police for the south.
Witnesses said the attackers, some of whom wore black or green outfits and red headbands, shouted "God is great!" and "We are ready to die for God!"
Government officials said 17 attackers were taken prisoner.
Most of the attacks, which began after the early morning Muslim prayer, were crushed immediately. The siege on the important Kreasae mosque, outside Pattani town, lasted more than six hours and left the building battered and splashed with blood.
Human rights advocates criticized the police and the military, saying they had used their intelligence data to set a trap and maximize casualties, rather than try to limit the bloodshed.
"The government didn't have to kill them all, but anyway the government killed them all," said Sunai Phasuk, a spokesman for rights groups, including Human Rights Watch. "They didn't have to storm into the mosque, but they did storm into the mosque - one of the holiest places in Muslim Southeast Asia."
Seems the Thai government doesn't respect the sanctity of the Holy Mosques there. They realize that it is the source of the violence.
We in the West are not allowed to admit that Islam is a cancer. We dont want to offend anyone. We dont want Human Rights groups, and Kofi Annans masters, to point the finger at us being unkind to our enemy.
Meanwhile the architects of Muslim worldwide infiltration are laughing at us for not even attempting to stop them from planting the 10% necessary for Jihad, in the United States.
Our principles of allowing religious freedom, where never intended to allow our culture to be assimilated by a spreading cancer. To Muslim's, religious conviction is more powerful than life itself, or love for our children.
Were the Nazi's a bigger threat to our way of life than Islam is.
Was Communism a bigger threat to our way of life than Islam is.
Were the American Indians a bigger threat to our way of life than Islam is.
No, they were not. Yet we were prepared to defeat them, no matter the cost in enemy lives. We were allowed, in fact encouraged to hate our enemy back then. And their aint nothing wrong with hating your enemy. Its necessary for victory.
The Japanese attacked and destroyed our fleet in the middle of the Pacific ocean. Because of that, we still had enough hate directed towards them, several years later, to destroy their cities with Nuclear and Incendiary devices.
It is going to take a similar approach to warfare to survive this war.
A Hard Rain is Gonna Fall
Oh, where have you been, my blue eyed son.
The kind residents of Najaf, got a taste today, of what their fellow degenerates in Fallujah, have been getting. A Spectre Gunship wakeup call. Holy Rain from the "Great Satan".
The sight of this, in your neighborhood, should be enough to convince you....your cause is doomed.
But no, not these religious hatred filled zealots. They dont have the sense to come in out of the holy rain. In the morning, they will view the pile of rubble, and see " a gift from Allah"......a fresh pile of rocks to throw at our soldiers.
The only thing we have, in our arsenal between Puff Jr. and Tactical Nukes, is a B-52 squadron. So keep coming at us boys, make us do whatever it takes.
WAR! Huh Good God y'all
What is it good for?
Nothing......... but Freedom.
Who likes WAR. Maybe General Dynamics shareholders. Certainly not me. I dont enjoy it. I want to live in peace with everybody on the planet. And all that requires is "Nobody Fucks with Me". Is that too much to ask. The only thing I despise more than WAR, is prospect of losing one.
So dont be going around killing innocent Americans, for 25 years, then start crying when the US Marines surround your stronghold city. Pay-back is the mother fucker, aint it.
The rules of engagement in our "War on Terror" are fundamentally flawed. We are not allowed to properly hate these enemies, because we dont want to offend all the so called "Good Muslims" here and abroad. And we have invested billions of dollars in weapons systems, that are not politically correct enough to use against this enemy. We are not even allowed to use the same tactics our enemy uses against us. And yet we arrogantly think we cant lose this war, just because we think our cause is more morally correct.
Our enemy doesn't wear a uniform this time. The only way we know for sure he wants to kill us, is after he pulls the trigger, and puts another American down, then we are allowed to return fire. We will never get ahead in this type of warfare.
This is a War of Ideas, as much as Bullets. And we aint even prepared to name our enemy. His name is Islam. To our enemy this is a holy war to the death. And they are much more passionate and persistent than we are. They are irrational, and can never be trusted to uphold a negotiated peace.
Yet, we want to win this war, without hurting anyone. And that is going to prove impossible.
You get what you pay for
It looks like Halo-scan Comments are down tonight. Not just on my blog, but on 3 other ones I visited as well. I cant really bitch about a free service they offer. But if this is going to be a common occurrence, I will try an alternative.
What about me?
In order to comprehend my POVs, you must understand where I am coming from. So let me give you a quick insight into the events that shaped my values.
I am 39 3/4 years olds. I was raised in a middle class suburb of Dallas. Where I spend my first 18 years, trying to impress my peers in the public education system, with how cool I was. My reward for this endeavor, was a pile of legal bills, that a part-time job while being a student, were not going to satisfy.
So I took all the knowledge I had been taught, and applied it to a shovel. As a laborer on a construction site. As the tools of my trade changed from Shovel to Sledge Hammer to Claw Hammer to Theodolite to Total Station to Sitting in my truck watching others work to Managing all problems to a project to Computerizing an Estimating Dept. During that 15 years course of time I supported my family working outdoors, by the hour. In Texas that will turn your neck red quickly. And for those of you who have never had
"Telling a group of Iron-workers to get the Fuck off Your Job" in your job description, haven't really lived.
The opinions I will spout here, are really the norm, in my world. I was surprised at how much they differed from most people at
The Command Post. I think the Northeastern Computer Professional and Liberal Political Activists are over represented there.
At 20 my life changed from being a social party animal in an urban environment, to an anti-social rural recluse. Its not that I dont like to go places and do things, Its just I really enjoy being alone or with my family at home, in the country. It certainly keeps me out of trouble. I haven't seen the inside of a police car, since I quit school. And I can still work in groups when I have to, I just prefer not to.
My moral values are not dictated by law or religion, yet I know right from wrong just fine. If you were broke down on the side of the road, you could trust me, to take your family to their home, without event. I am not a danger to society in an way. And am not a member of any organization.
I believe my opinions are shared by a large percentage of Texans and Americans that just haven't spent the time to publish their views. This blog will be for them. And I will share our POV with anyone who wants to hear it.
I am kind of a strange bird in my chosen profession, my peers dont appreciate how much a computer can improve your life. And they are quiet happy being computer illiterate, and I dont really encourage it onto them, because it just would not fit into their more traditional lifestyles. Yet most of them agree with my positions on stuff, and they are allowed to vote.
Now, that aint to say everyone in Texas is as radical as me. We have our share of Martin Frost Liberals. And they used to be in charge. But that will have to be discussed in another post in the future.
OK, now what?
Well, I have finally got my first blog up and running. Now to concentrate on some quality content. But where to start. What direction should I set sail towards.
I have an opinion on every possible subject, yet what do I hope to accomplish, with such a time wasting endeavor as a personal blog.
I still have the burden of choosing between remaining anonymous, and thus free to expose all my true feelings to y'all. Or Personalizing this to the point, you could drive to my house.
I really like the format Steven Den Beste has at
USS Clueless . But I know I cant match his level of talent, at expressing a viewpoint. But I could show up at his doorstep tomorrow, based on information he has made public, in his blog. And that means that some social subjects must be avoided by him, for his own safety.
Yet, hiding behind an IP address, dont reflect my personality very well.
I certainly am not in it for the money, and dont expect to ever turn this into business venture. But I do want it to reflect my opinions and personality on all subjects. Not just Foreign Affairs issues.
I would like to touch on many subjects here in the future. Such as:
Politics, Religion, Computer Hardware, Games, Music, Sex, Sports, Media, etc.
And expose y'all to the personal things, that make me tick.
I had my first couple of hits, from strangers last night. I dont know who they were, they might of just come looking for their graphics I stole to build this site. But it reminded me, of the responsibility I have to maintain here. But I will be pushing the legal and moral envelope to bring you my true feelings on everything I post here. That I can promise.
There is no way, I could expose my true feelings on every subject here, without offending a significant percentage of future visitors. So I promise to not even try not to.
However, any criticism you choose to leave here, will be welcomed.
Redneck Warfare
Redneck Army Vows Revenge
TOPEKA, KS - Armed with the latest in backwoods artillery - rocks, sticks, a standard-issue torch and mullets to spare - America's rednecks have decided to take it upon themselves to give retribution for the tragic events that unfolded earlier this week on 9/11.
"We was sittin' around and thought we should shoot ourselves some A-rabs," remarked one enthused hillbilly boy.
As a growing and disturbing trend, random acts of violence have been perpetrated against anyone deemed as "those people" by ignorant masses of hillbilly inbreds.
"I don't know who did it exactly but I sure as hell am gonna git him or hims," stated local Mob Leader Jervis Smith. "They all should go back to Hindu where they came from!"
Three hours later, Smith was arrested for attempting to light a local convenience store on fire.
But the attitude that Smith and several others in the rural community share doesn't appear to be limited to areas where a fifth-grade level of reading is considered "edumucated". Violence has been witnessed in urban cities, large and small - and this has law enforcement agencies quite worried.
All across America, police are ramping up efforts to combat the hate crimes committed against convenience stores owners, donut shop clerks, cab drivers and yes, even doctors, lawyers and engineers.
In case y'all are wondering what I look like.

Impressive post Polly. Where have you been. The pending Fallujah pacification effort, might be an election night cliff-hanger. Life as an insurgent / terrorist is going to get rough, If Bush wins, OR becomes a lame duck.
You Said What we are seeing here is very similar to the subtle, quasi hands-off strategy that has been used to so successfully bring peace to other locations in the Sunni Triangle over the past year.
Please clarify where, we have been “so successful”.
I have given plenty ammunition, to the posters here, that may consider me a genocidal maniac. But I really hate war. Who can honestly be pro-war. I was watching Romper Room during the Vietnam War. This is my first experience with 100 dead Americans in a month. And I dont find it enjoyable. If I didn’t believe our War on Terror is necessary for our children’s survival, I might not have the stomach, to support actions, that involved much collateral damage in pacifying Fallujah. I dont go out and “dance in the street”, when I see pictures of dead Iraqi babies.
What I do think about when I see them pictures, is that their are millions of Muslims, in the Middle East, that would “dance in the street” if those were American babies on TV, that had died in a Terrorist WMD attack, in the heartland of America.
Robert E Lee had known that war was so horrible, because he had seen it, in his home turf, in his fields, with his family in jeopardy. We are not there yet, but if we can’t win the war on terror, on the terrorists turf, we will have to retreat to the home front, and wait till they come.
Luckily, Western civilization’s advanced weaponry, and superior tactics, give us an amazing advantage over these killers, when on the rare occasion, they do not attack like cowards. The really “dyed in the wool” America haters, acted like they were ready to “Bring in on” to the United States Marine Corp. in a semi-contained space. We cant miss this opportunity, to demonstrate to the Muslim world, that we are dead serious about not wanting to be the only victims of terror forever.
Polly, I hope we can pacify the Sunni Triangle, by negotiating with the tribal leaders to do our dirty work for us. They might not realize yet, that being a tribal leader, in a democracy would have a competitive edge in any future local election, and all the Graff that would go with ( wink ). If not I can live with the guilt of any action our soldiers must take, to secure this victory.

"Bush is in control of Saudi oil production and price, and is going to lower it before the election"
I cant believe anyone intelligent enough to navigate to this site, could honestly believe this stupid shit.
Its another example of how the Left and the Media control the simpler minds of this nation.
Like during Bush's last press conference, about Iraq. The media engaged in a coordinated attempt, to make news, instead of report it. They all repeatably tried to get him to admit he had "Made a Mistake". See... thats a no win situation for any sitting president. How can you answer that question, in a way that wont be used against you, in the next mornings headlines. If you admit to one, it will be
"Even Bush know he has made a mistake". If he denies it, it will be
Bush too blind & arrogant to admit when he is wrong". I bet Kerry's handlers got plenty of influence, in exactly the way those questions were worded.
The Saudi gas price thing is from the same partisan whores. Creatively time this, to misrepresent it as a Woodward based fact, when its just simply another partisan trick to put Bush in a no win situation. If the price of oil does go down before election, the Dem's will be able to claim Bush's deal with the Saudi was real, if oil dont go down, well thats still Bush's fault somehow.
Election years during a war, should have a different set of rules, enforced by legislation. The damage it does to our ability to concentrate our national security efforts is extremely counter-productive, and sad.
If Kerry does win, it will change the fabric of the command-posts. It is going to be so much easier to just attack the flaws in the world, that occur on Kerry's watch, And many here will have a hard time explaining why, we wont be living in an Utopian peace loving world, with a Massachusetts Liberal in charge.
Poland to flee too ?
Seems Poland and some others want to pull out of Iraq too. That surprises me, because I thought the Poles really appreciated their new found freedom, and knew how important it is, to establish freedom in the Middle East. And they were doing a good job in Iraq, as the Spanish were too.
Good thing is, our list of friends will soon be down to only the real ones. The ones that speak English.
I wonder if Israel can police Najaf for us now.
Get ready world. The redneck is in the house.
If you haven't been offended yet, just stick around, I will get to you as soon as I can.
